Social Media Marketing is really all about expanding your reach and finding new prospects.

Choose one platform to start with.
This should be a platform where you know you can get a steady stream of highly qualified leads.
I highly recommend LinkedIn, especially for organic reach.
I invest time on all the major platforms – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter (a little), and LinkedIn.
I haven’t found any of the platforms to deliver consistent quality prospects like LinkedIn does.

Ideally you want to find a way to direct message your target audience on the platform and use this in combination with posting to drive your prospects to a funnel.
A funnel can be a simple as driving prospects to a link to your online calendar to book a call with you.
BINGO! They’ve opted into your list and taken action.
Lead magnet (or free gift) funnels are highly effective.
You offer your prospect information, tools, tips, or advice of value to them in exchange for their name and email address or their phone number for text messaging.
Congrats! You’re now a Social Media Marketer.
Key #2 – Video Marketing
So many people I talk with don’t want to do live video, or video at all.
WARNING: DID YOU KNOW YOU COULD BE MISSING OUT BIG TIME If you choose not to do video?
DID YOU KNOW….
Video is the single fastest way for you to build the Know-Like-Trust factor with your prospect and move them from cold, to warm, to hot, to buyer or team member without ever even talking with them.
You don’t have to be young, thin and beautiful to do video.
You don’t have to memorize scripts.
Will you be nervous, shaking and scared to death at first? Most Definitely, You WILL Be Out Of Your Comfort Zone
BUT….
With a little bit of practice you’ll get better and better until it’s just second nature for you.
Include a call to action in your videos which drives prospects to a funnel to take action.

Key #3 – Email Marketing
Without an email list you don’t have a business. PERIOD.
And I’m not talking about the list of your customers and team members in your network marketing company’s back office. You don’t own that! Your network marketing company does.
I’m not talking about connections and friends on social media.
I’ve heard way too many stories from people about how they got their Facebook accounts shut down and lost all access to their followers and prospects.
You don’t have any control over any platform and when they’ll shut you down, block or limit you.
As a ROCK Star Online Marketer you want to be constantly building your email list.
You own your email list.
You build your email list through your Social Media Marketing and Video Marketing.
Now it’s time to send them an email!
Email marketing enables you to spend as little as 15 minutes or so writing an email that you can send to hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands or more people at once.
Use your email marketing to continue to build a relationship with your prospects. Provide value and drive people on your list to a funnel to buy or join your team.

Key #4 – Text Message Marketing
Text message marketing is even more powerful than email marketing with open rates of 95 – 98%.
There’s nothing that comes anywhere near the power of text message marketing.
Chat bots on social media are great. But there’s still the same problem that you don’t control the platform and you don’t “own” the list. You’re at the mercy of the platform and at any given moment you can be shut down.
I can’t urge you strongly enough to get ahead of the curve on this one and use your Social Media Marketing, Video Marketing, and Email Marketing to build your Text Messaging list.

What exactly is a funnel?
There are prospect funnels and sales funnels.
A prospect funnel consists of is a landing page, also called an opt-in page or a squeeze page, where a prospect enters their name and contact information in exchange for a guide, a coupon, or something of value.
This prospect funnel is very often followed-up immediately with a sales funnel.
The prospect is automatically redirected, after entering their name and contact info for their free gift to a sales page.
Most funnels include a series of follow-up emails which continue to promote the product or service the prospect has expressed an interest in.
