If WE Look At It Like That, Then Different Choices We Make In Our Christian Life Can Be Linked Together To Make A Chain!!

Let’s At A Few People In The Bible!!

God Uses People Who You Wouldn’t Think He Would Use.

One Such Person Was A Harlot!! Her Banew Was Rahab!!

In Fact Her Chain Of Faith Was So Much That She Is Even Mentioned In Hebrews 11. The Heroes Of The Faith Chapter!!

She Is Mentioned With All The Heroes Of The Faith!!

Hebrews 11:31

“By Faith The Harlot Rahab, Did Not Perish With Those Who Did Not Believe”

The First Link Of Her Chain Of Choices Was She Chose To Help The spies That Entered Jericho Instead Of Turning Them To The King.

Now In Today’s Terms, She Commited Treason!!

Still Another Choice She Made Was To Believe The Spies.

They Told Rahab, That The Isrealites Would Cross The Jordan Rive And Take The Land.

She Commiteed Treson And She could Have Gotten Killed Because Of It.

SHE HAD NO WAY TO KNOW THAT THEY WERE REALLY TELLING THE TRUTH!!

Would You Have Taken Their Word For It?

Her Answer To Them Showed Her Faith!!

Joshua 2:9 I Know That The Lord Has Given You The Land…. and
Joshua 2:21 SbheSays “So Be It”

She Had Heaerd Abouit All Of The Miracles God Had Done For The Isrealites. She Was Convinced Of Gods Supremacy.
That Was Another Faith Link That Was Added To Her chain.

The Same Is True With Test For Faith, God Never MAKES Us Do Anything. He Gives Us A Choice!!

Each Day, Hour, And Minute, We Get To Choose Who We Are Going To Serve!!

“Choose For Yourselves Thiss Day Who You Will Serve…. But As For Me And My House, We WILL Serve The Lord”

“What You Believe And Whom You Serve Will Dtermine Your Choices And How You Work Out And Act Upon Your Faith —This Determines How You Behave.

First Of All Do You Believe God’s Word Is Important? That Is Important Because It Will Make All The Difference In Your Choices, Your Faith And Your
Behavior.

Did He See That Answer? Not Right Away!!

God’s Timing Is Not The Same As Ours.

Abraham’s Wife Was Actually To Old To Have Children, But Abraham Still Believed God!! God Answered That Prayer When She Was Physically To Old To Have Any Children. WHY?

Well Think About It!! What Do We Usually Do?

We Would Just Say Well Look At What I Did, And Leave God Out Of The Picture. So Sometimes He Does It Because Then We Can’t Say We Did It, Because It Is Impossible!!

2. Paul, When He Encountered A Storm As He Was Sailing to Rome. He Said In Acts 27:25
   “I Believe God That It Wil Be Just As It Was He Told Me.”

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR FAITHS OPPORTUNITIES!!

1 Pet. 3:12 “For The Eyes Of The Lord Are On The Righteous, And His Ears Are Open To Their Prayers”
God Always Hears Our Prayer, And He Promises To Answer Them.

I Know Now Your Thinking, No He Doesn’t After All I Prayed For…. This And This And That…. God Has NOT Answered Them!!!

Don’t Forget How Long Abraham Had To Wait To See The Answer. AND Sometime Since He Knows What We NEED He Has To Answer With A No, Sometimes It Is Wait A While.

That Is When We Need To B Strong….
Ephesians 6:10 “Be Strong In The Lord And In The Power Of His Might.”

Look At Rahab, Everything Seemed To Be going Against Her Ever Becoming A Woman Who Loved God,

She Was A Pagan, and A Prostitute But She Appears In The Roll Call Of Faith In Hebrews 11. There Are Only Two Other women Named In The Roll Call. It Was Sarah, And Moses mom Jochebed.

Rahab Earned That Because Of Her Choices.

Now Lets Look At How Brave She Was!! By Another choice!!

She Chose To Secure A Promise.

She Believed The Triumph Of God, And She Recieved A Promise From the Spies That They ‘would Save Her Life As Well As Her
Family, When They Came Back To Annihilate the city. Joshua 2:12-14.

¹² Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token:

¹³ And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

¹⁴ And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the Lord hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

I Know, We Don’t Always See That. Because God Knows Us So Well, (After All He Created Us) That He KNOWS What We Need, Even Before We Do!!

We Need To Remember That What We See As NEEDS Is Not Always Needs, But Wants. He Never Promises To Supply All Of Our Wants.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Jesus Promised…” And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness….

Now Look How Paul Finishes It Off…. “Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
